This article explains how to send an email or text message to the client where they can click on a link to confirm that they will be attending the session.

How to Create a New "Confirm Session" Email Template
To use the setup wizard to create the confirm session email do the following steps:
- Click on Settings
- Click on the Email Templates button
- Click the New Email Template button, or edit an old template

- Click the Fields tab
- Find the Insert Scheduled Event Fields section and click Confirm Event Link

To add a confirm session link to an already existing email template do the following steps:
Create a "Confirm Session" Text Template
- Click on Settings
- Click on the Manage SMS Text Message Template button
- Click the New SMS Text Template button or edit an existing text message template
- Click the Fields tab
- Find the Insert Scheduled Event Fields section and click Confirm Event Link

How to View That the Session has Been Confirmed
To view which sessions have been confirmed, do the following steps:
- When a session is confirmed, an email is automatically sent to the email address associated with the StudioCloud account. (The email subject for the email is as follows: Event # confirmed for {Session Name})
- Go to the calendar and see if there is a checkmark for the session as shown in the screenshot below.

- Go to the agenda view and view the 'confirmed' column. If it says yes then the session has been confirmed

- Edit the session and look at the confirmed checkbox
