Overview

Calendar filters let you view the calendar in multiple ways similar to having multiple calendars. This tutorial explains how to create, edit, use and export the calendar filter view to a third party calendar.

How to Create or Edit a Calendar Filter

1. Click on the Calendar component
2. Click on the Settings tab
3. Click the Manage Calendar Filters button
4. Click the New Filter button or edit the desired calendar filter
5. Enter the Calendar Filter name and add the desired resources to the calendar filter. StudioCloud will show any session, event, or appointment on the calendar that is included in the calendar filter
6. Click the Save button

How to Use a Calendar Filter In the Calendar View

When a calendar filter is enabled only the resources associated with the calendar filter will be viewed in the calendar.

1. Click on the Calendar Component
2. Click on the Calendar tab
3. Click on the Calendar menu bar
4. Click on the checkbox to the left of the Filter Calendar Event combo box to enable calendar filters
• The Filter Calendar Event combo box is located on the top of the calendar to the right of the Day, Work Week, Week, and Month buttons and to the left of the calendar date
5. Select the desired calendar filter in the Filter Calendar Event combo box 
• To disable the calendar filters so you can view the entered calendar again uncheck the checkbox next to the Filter Calendar Event combo box
