When to use the Calendar Type Analyzer
The calendar type analyzer provides many different analyses for your calendar including what calendar type takes the majority of your time, what calendar type brings in the most sales, and what calendar type provides the most sales per hour worked.
- What calendar type brings in the most sales?
- What calendar type takes the majority of your time?
- What are my average sales for each calendar type?
- How much did I make in a specific time frame for this calendar type?
- What calendar type provides the most sales per hour worked?
- All of the above questions can be filtered based on tag
- For example, "What calendar type and sessions, events or appointments that have a specific tag bring in the most sales?"
How to View the Calendar Type Analyzer
- Go to the Calendar component
- Select the Reports tab
- Click the Calendar Type Analyzer button
How to View the Information by Tag
This option will filter all of the results to only show the events, sessions and appointments that have a specific tag
- Click the checkbox under the Filter By Tag header
- Select the desired tag
How to Export the Calendar Type Analyzer to Excel
- Open the Calendar Type Analyzer
- Click the Summary Table, Detailed Events Table, or Detailed Invoice Table to export the data from those tables.
- Click the Export Options menu option
- Click the Export To CSV menu item.
How to Quickly Select a Calendar Type and all of its Calendar Sub-Types
- Click the Group Operations Menu Option
- Click the Select All Calendar Sub-Types For a Calendar Type menu item
What are the Bar Graph and Pie Chart Display Options, Calculation Options, and Time Interval Options?
- Bar Graph and Pie Chart Display Options:
- Display Number of Events
- This option will show the total number of events in the bar graph and pie chart
- Display Average Sales Per Event
- This option will show the average sales per calendar type in the bar graph and pie chart
- Display Total Sales Per Event
- This option will show the total sales per calendar type in the bar graph and pie chart
- Display Total Hours Per Event
- This option will show the total hours per calendar type in the bar graph and pie chart
- Display Average Hours
- This option will show the average hours per calendar type in the bar graph and pie chart
- Display Average Sales Per Hour Per Event
- This option will show the average sales per hour per calendar type in the bar graph and pie chart
- Display Number of Events
- Calculation Options:
- Include Calendar Sub Types with Calendar Types
- This option will only show the calendar types and will combine the selected calendar types and their calendar sub-types together.
- Include Events Without Invoices In Bar Graph and Pie Chart
- This option is available because if you include this data any events that do not have a sale will act as outliers when it comes to sales calculations
- Include Cancelled Events In Display
- This option will include canceled events in the graphs and charts.

- Time Interval:
- Display Data By Month
- This option will display the data shown in the pie chart and bar graph by month
- Display Data By Year
- This option will display the data shown in the pie chart and bar graph by year
- This option will display the data shown in the pie chart and bar graph by year
