This tutorial explains how to create organizations and add clients to an organization

Use Tags Instead Of Organizations

StudioCloud recommends using tags instead of organizations. Tags can do everything that organizations can do and much more. For example, tags support running reports while organizations do not.

What is an Organization

An organization is a group of clients grouped together.

How to Enable Organizations

  1. Click on the Clients component
  2. Click on the Settings tab
  3. Click on the Customize Client Fields button
  4. Click on the Additional Options tab
  5. Click on the Enable Organizations Tab checkbox

How to Create/Edit an Organization

  1. Click on the Clients component
  2. Click on the Settings tab
  3. Click the Manage Organizations button

  4. Click the New Organization button or edit an existing organization

How to Add a Client to an Organization From The Organization Window

  1. Open the organization using the instructions above
  2. Click on the Clients In Organization tab
  3. Click the Add Clients button
  4. Add the desired clients to the organization

How to Add a Client to an Organization From The Client Window

  1. Edit the Client
  2. Click on the Orgs tab
    1. This will not appear if Organizations are not enabled
  3. Double-click on the desired organizations
