How to Setup the Default Tax Rate
The default tax rate only applies to new invoices. Once an invoice has been created the tax rate can only be changed by manually editing the invoice and changing the tax rate.
- Click on the Point of Sale component
- Click on the Settings tab
- Click the Manage Tax Settings button

- Enter the default tax rate

How to Setup a Tax Profile
If you use more then one tax rate then you can setup a tax profile to quickly switch between the different tax rates.
- Click on the Point of Sale component
- Click on the Settings tab
- Click on the Manage Tax Profiles button

- Click the New Tax Profile button or Find and edit the tax profile you want to edit

How to Select a Tax Profile From the Invoice Window
If you charge more then one tax rate then you can setup a tax profile to quickly switch between tax rates.
- Create or edit an invoice
- Click on the edit icon that is between the Tax and tax field

- Selected the desired tax profile

- Click the Save button to apply the new tax rate to the invoice
How to Manually Enter a Tax Rate
You can manually enter a tax rate for the invoice by doing the following steps:
- Create or edit an invoice
- Click on the edit icon that is between the Tax and tax field

- Type in the tax rate under the "Edit Tax Rates Below" header

- Click the Save button to apply the new tax rate to the invoice
