Overview
This tutorial explains how to uninstall StudioCloud.
How to uninstall on Windows Vista and Windows 7:
- Go to the control panel and open the Program and Features
- Locate the StudioCloud program and click the uninstall button.
How to uninstall on Windows 10:
- Go to settings
- Click on the system option
- Click on the Apps & features option
- Search for studiocloud
- Click on it
- Click the uninstall button
Option 1: How to uninstall StudioCloud on a Mac:
- Go to the applications folder
- Drag the StudioCloud program into the trash
- Empty the trash before reinstalling StudioCloud.
Option 2: How to uninstall StudioCloud on Mac using a third party program
Note: Use this step if the above step doesn't work
- On some rare instances clients have encountered situations where deleting StudioCloud on a mac does not delete all of the correct files.
- To remove everything please download the following third party software.
- Launch the App Delete program and drag and drop the StudioCloud application into the App Delete Program
- It should show 4 folders. Please select all of the folders and push the delete button.
- Empty the trash before reinstalling StudioCloud
- Warning: The delete program will delete the StudioCloud local database and all of your preferences. While this shouldn't be an issue because your data is saved to the cloud we recommend doing the following steps before deleting studiocloud.
- Sync all your data
- Go to settings in StudioCloud and click the "Backup to CloudStorage button
Option 3: How to manually uninstall StudioCloud on a Mac
Note: Use this step if the above step doesn't work
- Delete the following items
- /Applications/StudioCloud 3.0
- Delete the following folders
- /Users/<Your Username>/Library/Preferences/com.StudioCloud.Desktop.3...
- /Users/<Your Username>/Library/Saved Application State/com.StudioCloud.Desktop.3...
- Empty the trash before reinstalling StudioCloud
