What is an Archived Client?

An archived client is a client that has either been manually archived or automatically archived because the client was selected to be deleted but it was associated with sessions on the calendar or invoices and, as such, StudioCloud automatically archived the client instead of deleting them.

 

What is a Hidden Client?

A hidden client is a client that you don't want to see in your client list. For example, clients such as children or non-paying spouses or relatives might fit in this category. When creating a relationship, by default, all new relationship clients are automatically hidden.

 

How to View Archived/Hidden Clients in the Client Table

  1. Click on the Clients component
  2. Click on the Clients tab
  3. Click on the Filter Options menu
  4. Click on the Show Archived Clients option or the Show Hidden Clients option

How to Search for Archived/Hidden Clients on Local Computer

  1. Follow the steps under How to View Archived/Hidden Clients in Client Table
  2. Enter the Client's name and click the Search button

 

How to Search for Archived/Hidden Clients on the Cloud

  1. Go to the Clients component
  2. Go to the Clients tab
  3. Click the All Clients menu bar
  4. Click the drop down menu beside the Search button
  5. Click the Search Clients In Cloud option

How to Archive a Client or Make a Client Hidden

  1. Edit the desired client
  2. Click the List menu
  3. Click the Archive Client menu option or click on the Include client in client List (Not a Hidden Client)
    1. There should be a check mark displayed next to the menu option if it is selected

How to Un-Archive a Client or Un-Hide a Client

  1. Edit the desired client
  2. Click the List menu
  3. Click the Archive Client menu option or click on the Include client in client List (Not a Hidden Client)
    1. There should not be a check mark displayed next to the menu option if it isn't selected
