Overview
StudioCloud supports printing using a Dymo Label Writer. This tutorial explains how to setup the DYMO Label Writer as well as how to use it in StudioCloud.
Supported Label Writer Devices
StudioCloud officially only supports the Dymo Label Writer 450. However, most Dymo Label Writers should work as well.
Setup Instructions

- Mac LabelWriter Download
- Or go to the following link.
After installing the above software restart your computer.
You should be able to print to the dymo label writer using the dymo label writer software or any other text editor.

Note: A few people have experienced issues with the link above printing on a chrome browser. If you experiencing issues please try it in a different browser to see if the issue is browser specific.
Printing a Label For A Client From StudioCloud
- Create or Edit a Client
- Click on the Print menu option
- Click on the Dymo Printer Options menu option
- The print options open up the printer directly in StudioCloud to print. The preview options open up a preview window where you can preview the details before printing.
- Create or Edit a Session, Event, or Appointment
- Click on the Print Options drop down menu in the bottom center of the window and select the desired print option.
- Print Event
- This prints a summary of the event details.
- Print Event
- Click on the Print Options drop down menu in the bottom center of the window and select the desired print option.
- Create or Edit an invoice
- Click on the More Actions followed by the Print Invoice Label
- This will print the client details, event details, and invoice details in the label
- Click on the More Actions followed by the Print Invoice Label
Printing a Label For A Session, Event or Appointment From StudioCloud
- Create or Edit a Session, Event, or Appointment
- Click on the Print Options drop down menu in the bottom center of the window and select the desired print option.

Printing a Label For An Invoice From StudioCloud
- Create or Edit an invoice
- Click on the More Actions followed by the Print Invoice Label
- This will print the client details, event details, and invoice details in the label

Customizing the Printing Process
Dymo Label Printing supports label files which allows the printed label to be further customized. In order to use label files you will need to create an xml file. Instructions on how to customzie the label form are available at the following links

- Here is an example of a completed label file.
In order to use the label file you will need to do the following.
- Print a label from StudioCloud
- When the print preview appears in your browser you will need to click the select label file button and select the xml file.
