Recommendations and Limitations When Exporting to Quickbooks
- Always make a backup of your QuickBooks file before doing an import
- Invoices imported more than once will be duplicated in QuickBooks
- When payments are imported they will not be attached to the invoice. But they should be attached to the client so you should be able to attach the payment to the invoice.
- Services are imported into QuickBooks as a Service
- Products and Packages are imported into QuickBooks as Non-inventory Parts
- QuickBooks Online does not support importing IIF files and, as such, StudioCloud can not export to QuickBooks Online
- This export has been tested with QuickBooks Premier Edition 2011 for the USA. Although it may work for other versions of QuickBooks it has not been tested with those versions.
