Overview
This tutorial will show you how to export your clients from StudioPlus to a CSV file and then import that file into StudioCloud.
Limitations
- StudioPlus does not support exporting the individual items in an invoice in a computer-readable format so the invoice will not contain the individual items in it. However, it will contain the total and balance due as well as all of the items listed below.
How to Export Invoices From StudioPlus Spectra
- Click the "Column Chooser" button.
- Click the "Uncheck All" button
- Manually select the following rows. (Pro-Tip: If you use the arrows on your keyboard and the spacebar you can quickly move between rows and select a row with the spacebar)
- Clients - Client Number
- Invoices - Approximate Delivery Date
- Invoices - Custom 1
- Invoices - Custom Date 1
- Invoices - Date Record Posted
- Invoices - Delivered Date
- Invoices - Description
- Invoices - Discount Amount
- Invoices - Invoice Classification
- Invoices - Invoice Date

- Click the "Ok" button
- Click the "Export To Excel Button and save the file with the name "Invoices 1.xls"
- If StudioCloud is importing the data for you please email the file to support@studiocloud.com. If you are importing the data yourself continue on to the step below.
- Instructions on how to convert the Excel file to CSV
- Once this file has been exported open it in Excel and click the "Save As" button.
- Change the Save as type: to CSV (Comma delimited) and save the file
How to Import Invoices from StudioPlus

- Go to the Point of Sale component
- Go to the Point of Sale tab
- Click the Invoices/Estimates/Quotes button
- Click the Actions menu button
- Click the Import menu option
- Click the Import Invoices Directly To Cloud menu item
- In the window that opens, select the Import Options menu button
- Select Import Invoices from Third Party Programs
- Select Import Invoices From StudioPlus
- Click Import Invoices from StudioPlus Desktop CSV Files
- Find your exported StudioPlus CSV Files
